Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 goes official on 20 July in India

 
 

Previously, there were speculations about the Redmi Note 9 launch in India. Now, the official Redmi India Twitter account tweeted and revealed the launch date of the phone for the Indian market. The phone will be launched on 20th July at 12 PM IST. Other variants of the phone, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max already launched in the market in May.

According to the teaser poster, The phone will be featured with quad cameras on the back and fast charging feature as well. There is also a tag line mentioned in the image “The Undisputed Champion”.

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9 has 6.53-inch IPS display panel with FHD+ resolution. It featured with punch-hole selfie camera at the top left corner, 13-megapixel. The phone powered by the Octa-Core Helio G85 processor under the hood. It has 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM variants along with 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage, respectively.

The Redmi Note 9 featured with quad rear cameras, 48-megapixel main, 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, and 2-megapixel depth camera. The phone packed with a 5020 mAh capacity battery inside the body with an 18W fast charging feature. The phone also comes with NFC, IR blaster, USB-C port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and more connectivity features. There also is a fingerprint scanner on the backside. It runs on the Android 10 Operating system out of the box along with customized MIUI running on top.

However, these specs are not confirmed by the company. The Indian version of the phone may come with slightly different specs such as different RAM and storage.

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9 goes official on July 20 and will available to sell on the company’s official website. The Amazon India also expected to sell this phone from July 20 at around INR 15,000 price tag.
