Vivo releases stable Android 10 for Vivo S1!

 
 

Vivo is not the fastest vendor for pushing out Android updates. Recently, the brand pushed out Funtouch OS 10 on top of Android 10 for its Vivo S1 Pro. Now, the brand has started rolling out the Funtouch OS 10 update for Vivo S1 in a limited manner. The device was announced back in July 2019 with Helio P65. As you guess, it was launched with Funtouch OS 9 on top of Android 9 Pie.

It was reported that the device will receive the update somewhere between June & July. Back in June, the brand started the open-beta for the Vivo S1 in India. Vivo has taken a good step by pushing the update after 2 weeks of beta testing. Although, the stable update is not pushed for the public. A user recently took out to Twitter regarding the update, the brand replied that the update is currently under “Grey Scale Testing.”

For those who are unaware of “Greyscale” testing, it means releasing the update for a few. If these users haven’t reported any serious bugs, then the brand will make the rollout public. The update will be hitting soon for others. The new Funtouch OS 10 comes with a large no. of changes including in UI. Vivo now supports cross-platform share between OPPO, Xiaomi, and Realme. This option will be available inFuntouc OS 10. Other than this, the privacy features are much improved now.
