Description

Samsung recently launched its Tab S7 FE, it will be available for pre-order in the UK starting from June 2. The Tab S7 FE combines some popular features of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 for budget pricing.

Display

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE has a 12.4 inch(1,600 x2,560 pixels) LCD display same as a regular Tab S7 though the refresh rate is limited to 60 Hz. Samsung perfectly maintained its screen-to-body ratio of 84.6% and aspect ratio of 16:10. Its dimension is about 284.8 x 185 x 6.3 mm, it weighs about 608 gms. The Tab provides flexibility for users to use multiple screen options to use different applications simultaneously. The tablet would be available in different colors such as mystic black, mystic silver, mystic pink, and mystic green. It also comes with S Pen support.

Performance

The Galaxy Tab S7 FE uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G processor Octacore soC(two Cortex A77 and six Cortex A55 cores), while the previous S7 and S7+ use flagship snapdragon processor 865+ which clearly indicates a bit drop in the performance. Tablet is shipped with Android 11 and One UI 3.1. The tablet is available in two different configurations. The first being 4 GB Ram and 64 GB of storage while the second being 6 GB Ram and 128 GB of storage. Users can also expand the internal storage up to 1TB by microSDXC, with the slot is provided.

Battery

It has a non-removable Li-Po 10090 mAh battery with fast charging support up to 45 W which can easily charge the tablet within 90 minutes. But the charger which is provided with the tablet in the box only supports 15 W charging.

Features

The Tab 7 FE comes with an 8MP AF (autofocus) lens, for shooting videos in up to 4K30 frames per second and a 5 MP selfie sensor. Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE provides sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and magnetometer.
Not only this it is equipped with GPS+GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, for traveling.

Conclusion

The Tab 7 FE is a great budget friendly option with some tradeoffs. The lack of AMOLED display and the powerful Snapdragon 865+ are the most noticeable once. If it launches in India at around 40K, it might be a good seller anything more than this can be a trouble spot.
