Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 gets Android 10 update with One UI 2.1 in US and Canada

 
 

Recently, Samsung rolled out a new firmware update for the Galaxy Tab S4 that brought the Android 10 operating system based on One Ui 2.1. It also came with June 1, 2020 Android security patch. However, the company rolled out the update for the Galaxy Tab S4 LTE version (SM-T830) model in Europe. Now the company rolling out the same update for the Wi-Fi variants of the tablet in the US and Canada.

The new update for the Galaxy Tab S4 comes with a T830XXU4CTF5 build number and its 1.76 GB size. For Wi-Fi variant, the update comes with the same features and upgrades as the LTE Galaxy Tab S4 models. Both the model’s update has the same changelog. The new firmware update comes with a new dark mode which is known as Night mode, previously.

The update also brings new full-screen navigation gestures, improved layout for titles and buttons, refreshed icons and colors, smoother animations, Digital Wellbeing, a clutter-free camera app, an improved Samsung Keyboard with multilingual translation, text undo/redo features and includes two new features – Music Share and Quick Share. It also comes with plenty of user interface improvements as well.

Now the company rolled out the update via OTA (Over the Air) and has the June month Android security patch. The users from Canada and the US should get the update notification on your tablet. If not, you can also check for update manually, go to Settings > Software Update menu on your device to check for update.
