Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite could be unveiled as Galaxy Fan Edition

 
 

A South Korean manufacturer, Samsung is working on a new smartphone. There are speculations, that the company planning to introduce the successor of the Galaxy S10 Lite smartphone, called Galaxy S20 Lite. Recently Samsung smartphone with model number SM-G781B appeared on GeekBench and revealed some information.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite could be unveiled as Galaxy Fan Edition

Now, new information rolling on the surface by the tipster Ishan Agarwal that the upcoming phone could be unveiled as Galaxy S20 Fan Edition. The tipster also revealed other information too including model number, codename, and variants of the phone.

Samsung’s Galaxy Fan Edition will come in 4G and 5G connectivity feature models. The 4G variant will have SM-G780 while the 5G phone variant has an SM-G781 model number. Samsung’s upcoming smartphone has an R8 codename. The Galaxy Fan Edition 5G variant will not available in the Indian market, but the 4G variant will available, as per the tipster.

Recently, the company’s upcoming smartphone spotted on Geekbench and revealed some of the specs. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor on board. It runs on the Android 10 operating system out of the box along with Samsung’s customized UI. There is 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage along with a 120Hz refresh rate display with a 3.3mm punch-hole and IP68 rated chassis.

However, there is no official confirmation from the company when it will going to launch the Galaxy S10 Lite successor. Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite launch in January this year. The tipster also revealed that the phone will be announced later this year.

The phone is a lighter version of the Galaxy S20, we expect it to come with a similar design as the Galaxy S20. We can expect that in the upcoming days, we will get to know more about the phone.
