Back in April 2020, Realme unveiled its cheapest 5G smartphone, i.e. the Realme X50m in the Chinese market. According to the latest reports, Realme will be launching the same in the Indian market. Realme had announced the Realme X50 Pro 5G on February 2020 in the Indian market. They didn’t unveil any device in this series other than the X50 Pro in India.
As per the report from 91Mobiles, Ishan suggested that the device will be launched in India soon, as the support page already contains its name. The listing also includes the recently launched Nazro 10, Nazro 10A, realme 6, realme 6 Pro, and the realme band. However, the page doesn’t reveal any other details of the same.
The Realme X50m will be the first device in India to sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. Even though there are 5G phones in India, no one of them comes with the 765G. They also add that it’s pricing will be under Rs 25000. The device is a trimmed down version of the Realme X50 launched in December 2020 in China.
Realme X50m Specifications!
The Realme X50m 5G sports a 6.57 inches FHD+ IPS LCD, and with a screen refresh rate of 120Hz. Underneath the Realme X50m 5G, it sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, which pairs with six and 8GB of RAM. And only with 128GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage. The device runs on the Realme UI V1.0 on top of the Android 10.
Talking about optics, the Realme X50m 5G has a quad rear camera setup. The quad rear camera includes a primary 48MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. This sensor pairs with an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and a tertiary 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. And finally, this setup also includes a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. To the front, it has two sensors, which include a primary 16MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, which pairs with a 2MP depth sensor.
The Realme X50m 5G is packing a 4,200mAh battery with support for 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge support. It is available in two colour options, i.e., in Starry Blue, and Galaxy White. It gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and also support for face unlock.
