Xiaomi has finally released the stable MIUI 12 update for the users of Poco F1. Earlier, it was rumoured that the device will receive update in July. But, the device merely received a security update which was on top of MIUI 11. Earlier, we have mentioned that, Xiaomi has started the Pilot Testing of MIUI 12 for the device.
The update was delayed because of some unknown reasons. Today, the brand has pushed new MIUI 12 update for the Pilot Testers which is the stable update. The new update comes with the version number MIUI 18.104.22.168 QEJMIXM.
Although we have the download link for the update, non-Pilot testers can’t install the same. Currently, the Pilot testers who didn’t received the update can install the new update.

Old Story Continues!
Xiaomi launched its first device under the “Poco” branding in 2018 named Poco F1. The device came with interesting specifications and was bang for the buck. It offered Snapdragon 845 as cheap as possible.
Xiaomi will roll out the MIUI 12 for the device too. The MIUI launcher and features embedded for Poco is different while comparing with the regular MIUI for Redmi or Mi devices. The device was expected to receive the update in the second rollout.
For now we already have MIUI 12 for Poco F1 which is a port based on the Mi 8 MIUI 12 build. Of course, it works as both the devices have more or less the same spec. But this is a chinese build and without GApps embedded in it.
Siba has installed this on his phone but for other users I will recommend to wait for the official global MIUI 12 update.
Earlier, there were many reports that the MIUI 12 for the Poco F1 will hit somewhere between July & August. There was also recruitment for the “Pilot testing” of the MIUI 12. And in June, the brand started the beta testing of the device. A moderator from the Xiaomi community has shared the launch date of stable Android 10 for the international variant of the F1.
According to him, the update will be rolled out in August 2020. However, he hasn’t shared the exact date of rollout of the update. Considering the developments in the Pilot program & beta testing, the update will be rolled out soon. He also adds that, since Poco F1 has received two major updates, it will be not receiving the Android 11 update. Stay tuned with us, so that you won’t miss if such breaking news comes in.
