Oppo X 2021 was launched on 21 June 2021. It is a concept device as of now featuring a rollable display. Being a concept device means this isn’t in the final stage material by any means. Through this phone, Oppo has proven that rollable phones can be possible and work perfectly. It is Oppo’s first smartphone with a rollable screen.
The Oppo X 2021 comes with a POLED (plastic organic light emitted diode) screen of 6.7 inches(17 cm) to 7.3 inches(18.5 cm) display. It is 8.4 mm thick in unrolled form and a resolution of 1536 X 2152 pixels, which offers stunning gaming and movie experience. The smartphone exhibits a bezel-less display with 447 PPI pixel density and has a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Oppo X 2021 is packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipsets with 8 GB RAM which keeps it lag-free. The smartphone has a 4000 mAh Li-ion irreplaceable battery of 125W of fast charging via USB Type C. For graphical requirements, Adreno 650GPU is provided. Oppo X 2021 offers 256 GB of internal storage and 8 GB RAM. The memory is non-expandable. It has an on-screen fingerprint sensor for security.
The Oppo X 2021 opens door to an entirely new generation of smartphones. The rollable design also helps in cutting the cons that we face with the foldable device. With this we hope to see an onset of foldable smartphones in the market.
