Nubia has unveiled its new 5G smartphone i.e., the Nubia Play 5G in China. This device is the new mid-range smartphone from the brand that targets the youth. As you know, Nubia is known for gaming smartphones, the brand has changed its logo for a new avatar, and they also unveiled a smart electric brush in this event.

The Nubia Play 5G features for a 6.65 inches AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution without any type of notches or punch hole. It has a massive refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. This AMOLED display also comes with an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. It sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, which has been made on the 7nm process. It pairs with 6, and 8GB of RAM. And it comes with 128, and 255GB of UFS 2.1 onboard storage. The device runs on the NubiaUI 80 on the top of Android 10.
Coming to the optics side, the device sports a quad rear camera setup that is arranged vertically to the center of the smartphone. This camera setup includes a primary 48MP Sony IMX 582 sensor. This sensor pairs with an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and a tertiary 2MP macro sensor. And finally, this setup also includes a 2MP depth sensor with an aperture value. To the front, the device comes with a 12MP sensor.
The Nubia Play 5G packs a massive 5,100 mAh battery for withstanding the 144Hz refresh rate. It also supports for 30W fast charging, and charges over the USB type C port. It is available in three color options, namely the Black, Blue, and White. Further, the right-hand side of the phone features the two capacitive shoulder buttons for enhanced gaming utility i.e., the Touch-sensitive gaming triggers. Finally, coming to the pricing of the smartphone, it starts at 2,399 Yuan for the base variant i.e., with 6GB RAM+128GB ROM, 2,699 Yuan for the variant with 8GB RAM+128GB ROM, 2,999 Yuan for the top variant with 8GB RAM+256GB ROM.
