Nokia 2.1 receives Android 10 Go Edition update!

 
 

Nokia smartphones are known for their updates rather than specifications. They release every smartphone under Android branding, so these devices get at least two major Android updates. Nokia has started rolling out a new major Android update for the Nokia 2.1. The device was launched back in 2018 with Android 8 Oreo Go Edition. It also means that the device has already received Android 9 Pie Go Editio. Other specs include Snapdragon 425, 5.5-inches display with HD+ resolution, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.

Apart from this, Nokia 2.1 has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. All this is backed by a massive 4000 mAh battery, which has support for 10W charging. The new update which Nokia is rolling out is the latest Android 10 Go Edition. It means that you can enjoy the current latest stable version of Android. Nokia has already pushed the update for its 10% of devices; rest 50% will get the update by September 5. The rollout of the update will be finished by September 7.

The update is currently rolling out in countries like Thailand, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Laos, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The benefit of the Go version is that it will consume only a few storages. Do let us know if you have received the update on your device.
