Recently, Lenovo owned Motorola launched its 5G connectivity smartphone, called Moto G 5G Plus. The Moto 5G is the first 5G smartphone in the Moto G series. Now the company planning to launch the Moto G9 series. Recently, Motorola’s phone spotted on the third-party listing as Moto G9 Plus. Now another upcoming smartphone from the company spotted on Geekbench benchmarking site as Moto G9 Play smartphone and revealed some specs of the phone.
According to Geekbench, the Moto G9 Play smartphone scored 313 points in the single-core test and 1370 points in the multi-core test. As mentioned in the Motherboard field, the phone company with “guamp” codename. The phone featured with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. However, the exact name of the chipset is not known yet.
There are speculations that the phone could have Snapdragon 660 chipset on board. Motorola’s Moto G9 Play has Octa-Core CPU under the hood which clocks at 1.8 GHz. The predecessor of the phone was launched last year as Moto G8 Play powered by MediaTek Helio G70 processor.
The benchmarking listing site also revealed that the phone has 4 GB of RAM. which is a major upgrade while the moto G8 Play has only 2 GB of RAM. We can expect that there may still be versions with less RAM. It runs on the Android 10 operating system. However, other specs details of the phone are not known yet.
Last year, Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play were launched in the same month. Both the upcoming smartphones spotted recently, which means The Moto G9 Plus and Moto G9 Play may launch in the same event. The online retailer listed the Moto G9 Plus 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage at €277 price tag, a few days ago.
