After many official teasers from the brand, Meizu has finally launched its Meizu 17 series smartphones in China. The brand has unveiled Meizu 17, and Meizu Pro in this series. Both the device comes with thin bezels, excellent camera setup, top-notch specifications, and many others. While there are no significant differences between both the instruments except for some in-camera, body type, memory, and battery. Meizu 17, and Meizu 17 Pro Specifications!
Both the smartphones feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a screen refresh rate of 90Hz, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The AMOLED display also comes with an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. It has a single punch-hole to the left and comes with CoF packaging tech, which helps in achieving higher screen to body ratio. It can blow up to 1100 nits and supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
Underneath the Meizu 17, it comes with the Snapdragon 865 SoC with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. While Meizu 17 Pro comes with the same chipset but with 8 or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, both the smartphone gets 128 or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Meizu 17 will be available in Black, Dark Green, and White color options. The Pro version comes with white, black, and light green colors with a premium ceramic body. Both the devices carry support for SA /NSA 5G. It runs on Flyme OS 8.1 on top of Android 10.
Quad-rear cameras with impressive specifications!
The Meizu 17 series sports a quad-camera set up in a horizontal housing along with the flash. The base 17 model features a 64MP Sony IMX686 with f/1.8 aperture, which pairs with a 12MP portrait sensor with f/1.9 aperture, a tertiary 5MP macro sensor with f/1.9 aperture and finally, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a field of view of 118. While the premium 17 Pro gets an 8MP telephoto sensor with f/2.4 aperture, a 32MP Sony IMX 616 ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 3D ToF sensor. The primary sensor is same in both the smartphones. To the front, both the device gets a 20MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
The Meizu 17 and the 17 Pro packs a 4500mAh battery with 30W Super mCharge fast charging technology. It can charge up to 56% in just 30 minutes. The Pro model comes with the Super Wireless mCharge 27W charging solution that can charge up to 47% in 30 minutes. Further, the Pro model also gets reverse wireless charging. The brand has used many technologies to improve battery life, and performance than other flagships. Both models will go on sale via online and offline sales channels in China from May 11.
