LG will rollout LG Velvet UI for its older smartphones!

LG has pushed it’s LG UX 9.0 on top of Android 10 for most of its smartphones. It is the latest UI from the brand which comes with a lot of features and is similar to the OneUI. Most of the OEM’s will try to match their UI version to the Android version. However, LG hasn’t put up any efforts for matching their UI no with the Android version. Now the brand thinks to push the LG Velvet UI to some of its smartphones.

The new UI is present in the LG Velvet which is a premium mid-range device from the brand that was launched recently. According to the official post, LG will be delivering the new UI to its premium smartphones. The brand has already pushed the Velvet UI update for the LG V50 ThinQ. With the feedback taken from the users, the brand is planning to spread the update for other devices too.

Including LG V50 ThinQ, a total of six smartphones will receive the new UI update. These smartphones are LG G8 ThinQ, LG V50S ThinQ, LG V40 ThinQ, LG V35 ThinQ, and LG G7 ThinQ. LG has come up with an official statement that looks like this.

LG Electronics plans to expand and apply the UI of LG Velvet to a total of 6 premium smartphones with Android 10, including LG V50 ThinQ, LG G8 ThinQ, LG V50S ThinQ, LG V40 ThinQ, LG V35 ThinQ, and LG G7 ThinQ to be.

As said, the new update will bring a lot of changes which will include volume adjustment screen change, notification bar point color setting, and information pop-up window appearance change during a call. Like this, a lot of change will take place. Notable all the above-said smartphones have received the LG UX 9.0 update on top of Android 10. We will update this article if any further news comes.
