iQOO Z1 5G launched in China with Dimensity 1000+!

 
 

Earlier this month, MediaTek launched its new chipset, i.e. the Dimensity 1000+ SoC. Soon after the launch of the chipset, the iQOO started teasing its new device. Later, they revealed its name, i.e. the iQOO Z1 5G and has been teasing various specifications these days. The device has a similar design to the iQOO Neo 3 5G which was earlier launched. It will be launching in India since iQOO will launch the “Z”, and “U” series here.

The device gets a 6.57 inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and with the screen refresh rate of 144Hz. It supports features like P3 colour gamut and HDR 10. The brand has even included an auto mode, which will automatically select the refresh rate according to the needs. Earlier, Nubia launched its Red Magic 5G phone with the same refresh rate. As everyone knows, it sports the Dimensity 1000+ chipset with 6 & 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 & 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The device runs on iQOO UI 1.0 on top of the Android 10 out of the box. It gets support for dual-mode SA/NSA 5G.

The iQOO Z1 features a triple rear camera setup in vertical camera setup. It gets a primary 48MP sensor with an f/1.79 aperture and a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Further, the device receives a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Upfront, the device gets a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera sits inside the punch-hole.

The phone packs a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 44W Super Flash Charge fast charging tech. It gets the latest Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-frequency GPS, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The pricing of the device is as follows:-

  • 2,198 Yuan for 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM
  • 2,498 Yuan for 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM
  • 2,798 Yuan for 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM

The iQOO Z1 is already up for pre-booking on Vivo’s official website and will be available for pre-orders on other e-commerce websites from May 25. The sales will start on June 1. It will be available in colour options like Space Blue and Galaxy Silver, and a bright yellow special edition. It is a variant that features the One Piece skull and bones logo on the back. The brand has also launched 3D texturized covers, a Bluetooth controller with an analogue joystick, and neckband-style wireless earphones along with the device.
