Samsung has started the OneUI 3.0 Pre-phase beta for the Galaxy S20 series. Read from here for more details.
Samsung launched its Galaxy Note 20 series in an unpacked event conducted by the brand. Soon after the launch, the brand made an important announcement i.e. regarding the no. of updates. According to their new policy, they’ll release three major SO updates for their “S” & “Note” series starting from Galaxy S10. Apart from this, they have also announced the OneUI 3.0 on top of Android 11. As of now, the beta version is exclusively available for the users of the Galaxy S20 series.
A few days before, they have made an announcement which is more interesting. As per this, a few of its mid-range devices & tablets will also receive three major OS updates. The new “A” series device includes Galaxy A51, A51 5G, A71, A71 5G, and the A90 5G. As far as tablets concerned, the Tab S7/+, S6 (4G & 5G), S6 and S6 Lite will receive three major updates. Apart from this, they have also confirmed that the Galaxy S20 series will be the first device from the brand to receive the Android 11 (OneUI 3.0) update. The only con of Samsung flagships was the lack of updates, but now it has been solved.
The beta programme is live in Korea, & the US, it will be live soon in other countries like India. Samsung will also release the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition soon. That said, OneUI 2.1 also came with the Galaxy S20 series. We will update the article, once the beta programme is live in other regions.
