Thanks for your efforts in developing for the Z3. I tried it, but I am unable to send text messages with Verizon. I can receive messages, I can make and receive phone calls. It would have been perfect if I could have been able to send texts. Please do more work on the Verizon carrier.

    Thank You

Can you just try with another messaging app and see if it works??

You can try the following command:

    fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk RECOVERY.img

Since Android Oreo, the partition names have been changed.

I did try google messenger, Verizon Messenger, and it had the same problem, also got error messages about the phone app.

“com.android.phone keeps stopping” so I think it is deeper then the messaging app?

I am not the first report of Verizon problems, over in XDA another had problems too.

I would try and edit the APN, but it is greyed out and can’t be edited.
