Poco just launched its new device i.e. Poco M2 Pro here in India. Just before the launch, the brand came with an announcement which is pretty interesting. Before, as you guys know Xiaomi is not the fastest OEM’S out there to give major Android updates for its smartphones.
Android 11 Beta 1 is out for many non-pixel devices out there. Xiaomi’s own Mi 10/ Mi 10 Pro, Redmi K30 Pro, and Poco F2 Pro are included in this list. Earlier today, the brand has come with an announcement that the Poco X2 will receive the Android 11 Beta update.
The Beta updates are live for all the devices which the brand announced before. Poco announced the Poco X2 earlier this year. The device was running on MIUI 11 on top of Android 10. Actually, X2 is a rebranded version of Redmi K30 4G. As said, the brand came up with an announcement like this.
It means that the device will receive the Android 11 beta update soon. Last month, Google released the beta 1 of Android 11. As you know, the beta version is not for using as a daily driver. It is meant for developers to adapt their apps to the upcoming Android version. The stable Android 11 update for the device may receive at the end of 2020.
While Xiaomi hasn’t pushed out the MIUI 12 for the Poco in India. While its sibling Redmi K30 4G has recently received the stable MIUI 12 update. Stay tuned with us for more solid pieces of information like these.
