Hi, I just have installed the x86 su you have made available on my Asus Zenfone 2 with Lineage OS 14.1 but it is not working. The options like “Apps and ADB” appear in the developer menu as expected but even I select it the root is not enabled, I mean, if I use root checker or whatever app that need root it just says It’s not rooted. How to fix it? Thanks!
Just for a quick solution you can try the Chinfire’s SuperSU and see of that works for you??
If not we have to identify the root cause of the problem and fix it!!
Just flash the SuperSU and let me know how it goes.August 18, 2017 at 8:24 AM in reply to: Galaxy S Duos 2 CyanogenMod 13 Marshmallow ROM discussion thread #24347
I’m facing the same problem with gmail. Tried both micro and pico gapps
Have you tried the other ROMs that I have pointed in the previous comment??
Does the problem persist on all other ROMs or just this CyanogenMod 13??August 18, 2017 at 8:07 AM in reply to: Lineage OS 14.1 for Galaxy S5 Neo (G903F, s5neoltexx) Nougat ROM #24344

The ops state official and unofficial.
Where is the official for the s5 neo.
Thanks for pointing that out.
There is no official LineageOS build available for S5 Neo as of now. Updated the OP accordingly.
If it works on the stock JB ROM then the vibration actually works fine.
If it does not work on any other custom ROM, then it sounds weird. If at all it is the case, then I guess there might be some setting for the vibration to work which you need to tweak or configure in the corresponding ROM(s).July 25, 2017 at 12:17 PM in reply to: How to Update Lineage OS on top of CyanogenMod ROM #24095
Is the option to upgrade to Lineage from CM 13.1 still available?
If you are able to get the LineageOS experimental build for OnePlus One then you should be able to migrate from CyanogenMod to LineageOS.
It is not available on the LineageOS website but you need to search else where either on Google or on OnePlus forum might be the right place.
I have managed to find a few Lineage 13 downloads but i am not sure if they are experimental or not.
Also if i need to upgrade to CM 14.x first without wiping please advise.
If you are migrating from CM 13 to LineageOS 13 then you need not to wipe.
But if you are going to migrate or rather I will say upgrade from CM 13 to LineageOS 14.1 then you have to wipe everything and start over again. It is because of the upgrade of Android to a major version.
In some cases people do dirty flash (flashing without wiping anything) when moving to a major version (like from CM13 to 14.1 or LineageOS 13 to 14.1) and things work somehow, but if something goes wrong or the phone does not work the way it should then you have to go for a wipe anyway.July 24, 2017 at 9:44 AM in reply to: How to ROOT Lineage OS 14.1/13 Marshmallow/Nougat ROM #24088
