    This is an installation guide of official CyanogenMod 12.1 release based on Android Lollipop 5.1 for Motorola Moto G 2013 1st gen versions. This ROM has full DUAL SIM support and latest Android features patched-in. This installation requires a custom Recovery to be installed on your Moto G.

    DISCLAIMER:
    Installing custom ROM requires a custom recovery to be installed on your device, which may VOID your warranty and may delete all your data.
    Before proceeding further you may consider backup your all data. Understand that YOU are the only person making changes to your phone. Neither we nor the developer can be held responsible for the disaster that may happen to your device after following this guide.

    Flashing CyanogenMod 12.1 Lollipop ROM on Moto G 2013 1st gen:

    Before flashing make sure that you have already flashed a Custom recovery.

    STEP 1:

    Copy the ROM and GApps zip file to your phone(By using a USB cable or via adb push command).

    STEP 2:

    Enter into recovery mode by pressing your device specific key combinations.
    Or else if you are on a pc, then type the following command:

    $ adb reboot recovery
    STEP 3:

    If you have CyanogenMod 12 ROM then just wipe the Cache partition and jump to STEP 4.
    Wipe system partition, cache, data and dalvik cache (Only if you are coming from KitKat)

    STEP 4:

    Select the Install Zip from SDcard option.
    Select the CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM file, let the installation complete and then reboot.

    Just complete the initial setup, reboot to recovery and then flash the GApps package and reboot again to enjoy Android Lollipop with CyanogenMod. After this CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM installation you may want to enable ROOT access on your phone and here is how you can do that:
